Description

We developed this project in the first course of Secondary (12 years old). The project involved three subjects: Biology, Language and Technologies

Goals

GOALS: they have to know about the different kinds of animals, about the literary resources that involve animals, and the augmented reality technique.

Methods

Methods: biology and languages explain the contents, and the students have to create a video explaining everything. Each group of students record one or two family of animals in video, taking care of use correctly the tools they have, such as chroma, video windows during their explanations, pictures, sound quality, etc.

After they create the video, they create a wall with pictures of the animals, and then they associate an image to a video.

Materials

Materials: iPads to record the videos, chroma wall, and a painted wall.

APPS:  Touch Cast, iMovie and intro lite to record the videos.

Aurasma to create the augmented reality.

Google drive to upload the information and also to do the evaluation process.

Assessment

Assessment: in each subject the teacher does the evaluation of the parts they teach. We use rubrics and self evaluation and co-evaluation.

ICT

They learn how to create really professional videos, using a lot of techniques such as chroma, add windows to a video, add titles, introductions, etc.

They also use augmented reality, and all the process is controlled with digital tools
