Description

College in REP (Eduacational Priority Network) 9th years (childs of 15 years old) with some scolar difficulties. 23 students.

Goals

The aim is to break barriers betweendisciplines (here maths/technology).

In order to achieve this, we use digital learning tools.

Methods

The class is separated in two group with both the professors if required.

Materials

At this grade, the schedule allows one hour per week in a technology class with 15 computers.

Assessment

The work is evaluated by the two professors together using the references of each disciplines.

For instance, we ask the students to create geometric shapes using graphical coding.

The tested comptences were :

  • Write, correct and run a simple program
  • Analyze the behavior of a system and decompose a problem in sub-problems in order to structure a
    program.
