Description

There are 255 pupils in our school. Pupils age are between 7-12 years, so we are primary school. We also have a preparatory class for immigrant children. Our school is university training school for students of faculty of education.

Goals

Goals:

To improve pupils ict skills, get them take part to plan their own studies, goals and methods. To learn them to take response of their own studies and orientate themselves towards their own interests of research.

Methods

Methods:

We made a group for the pupils in O365, where they can do their projects, comment each others work and continue working at home. At school we usually start working by making mind maps. Quite often at first we work as a team where pupils can share ideas and learn from each other.

Materials

Materials:

O365 cloud service, Ipads, Smartboard, projector and document camera.

Assessment

Assessment:

Pupils take part to assessment by giving feedback for each other during and after project. They also evaluate their own goal setting, achieving targets and the final result.

ICT

Working by many different ways to learn: teamwork by Ipads using different apps, using Smartboard together and finally working in O365 cloud service.

eTwinning

Mobility

During the whole project pupils comment each others work in order to share ideas and improve their own presentations.

Stakeholders

Parents can take part of the project while children are doing their homework on O365 (online) at home. I also sometimes invite parents at school to take part of the projects and listen to the children`s presentations.

Success

Co-operation, pupils are in active role during the whole project. Pupils enthusiasm was really nice to see.

It was interesting to give more responsibility to the pupils and see how excited they are. It was also really instructive to share ideas with collegues.

They were really excited to use new technology and plan their own project. They were also eager to give feedback to the each other.
