Goals

An insight of the complexity of understanding and critically analyzing information online.

Methods

A short introductory lecture of reviewing of sources generaly, then in practical workshop finding answer to a Question for example: “Is sugar dangerous?” or “Does Chemtrails exist?” followed by a group discussion, disclosing our sources and Analyze them together.  The workshop is held in all classes once a year.

Materials

Techer´s computer connected to a projector and the students´ chromebooks.

Assessment

Assesment is done by the regular teacher during ordinary lessons where the students´knowledge is used during fact finding.

Mobility

The pupils are very involved as they propose themes to be explored and bring their own knowledge and personal habits for display. Every workshop is different depending on the group of pupils participating.

Stakeholders

None, though  I always encourage the students to ask their parents about their online life.

Success

IT si necessary, the students know it, but they find it interesting as much of their life is lived online.
