Description

About 550 pupils, classes from 1 to 9, pupils are 7-16 years old. On grades 3-9 we have classes specialized in visual arts.

Goals

Goals: To promote and confirm teachers’ ICT skills and thus increase the use of digital learning environments with the students. To practice making, saving and sharing learning materials.

Methods

Methods: One training day (six hours) and continuing support when needed. Training and support are provided by two teachers from Myllytulli school.

The aim is to use ICT as a part of everyday learning whenever it is appropriate and supportive from the student’s point of view.

Teachers are motivated in participating a training where the subject is close to their own practical work. The possibility to easily get further advice and support after the training contributes to using the new skills in own work.
