Goals

To discover and study the sound and its properties.

Methods

Students explore and discover the properties of sound using simulations, on-line instruments, oscilloscope, on-line sound spectrometer and sound generators. For that, they resolve an on-line inquiry learning scenario.

 

Materials

Smartphones, tablets, computers, interactive whiteboard, internet and inquiry learning scenario.

Assessment

Students must explore the provided inquiry learning scenario.

ICT

Students can use ICT to explore sound as they want to. They can record their voices and “see” them on the spectrometer.

Students work in groups and they are allowed to walk around the classroom to make experiments and use the interactive whiteboard.
