Goals

Laws of physics are present in our daily lives, and are especially visible when we turn to a playground. When looking around is easy to see the role of the force of gravity or friction force in a slide, the movement of a pendulum, the launch of a projectile …

It is intended that students develop a project from a “toy” in existing playground, applying the principles studied in the physics of the 10th, 11th and 12th years.

Methods

Students must shoot the movement in question and use a video analysis program video to physics, such as the “TRACKER – Modeling Video”.

After the measurements and calculations should organize data in tables and / or graphics.

Digital cameras or smartphones and computers

Students must present their project to other students

ICT

tudents like to use and to work with computers and the modern information and communication technologies (ICT). If we connect the work on computers with studying physics, this form of education will become very attractive for students and we can suppose that their knowledge in physics will be better. Utilizing of ICT in physics education helps the students to work more actively and supports developing of their creative thinking.
